Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Catawba Fire House. Carnival games will start
at 2:00 to 5:00, adult corn home tournament from 2:00 to 5:00, live auction
starting at 4:30 with a special appearance from the \"Buck I Guy\" to kick
off some OSU autographed items, a silent auction from 2:00 to 5:30, fire
truck rides and much, much more. The foundation was started after Lau Elderly United Events SENIOR DAY May 20: Elderly United will be celebrating Senior Day at Casey’s restaurant on Tuesday, May 20th. This fun-filled afternoon includes lunch, entertainment, senior awards and door prizes. All those age 55 and older are invited to attend. Music begins at 1130am and lunch will be served at 12 noon. Tickets are $3.00 each. Call the Pitzer Center at 323- 4948 for more information. Malcolm Smith Teaches in New Carlisle May 23 Weekend New Carlisle, OH — The New Carlisle First United Methodist Church (220 S. Main St., New Carlisle) will be hosting a weekend event with author and teacher of scripture, Malcolm Smith.This event will be held May 23-25, 2008. Teaching sessions will be Friday, May 23rd at 7:00 pm, Saturday morning at 9:00 am with refreshments, followed with the second teaching starting at 10:00 am until approx. 12 pm. We will have a Memorial Day Cook-out at 5:30 pm followed by an evening session with Malcolm at 7:00 pm. Sunday morning at 10:00 am Malcolm will bring us the message during the service. Reservations must be made for this event as there is limited seating (325). All training events are FREE of charge!Northwestern Class of 1968 plans its 40th year reunion The Northwestern High School Class of 1968 is planning its 40th year reunion for August 23, 2008 at the Springfield Professional Firefighter’s Clubhouse at 703 N. Bird Road, Springfield, Ohio. The class will meet for a buffet dinner at 6:30 pm, and then the event is open to ALL Northwestern Alumni from 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm. A potluck picnic will be held the following day from 1-5 pm, at Runyan’s pond, north of Springfield.
