July 1st, 2010 (Green, OH) - Independent musician Danny Milan announced the release of his latest album  “Falling “, last month.  “Falling “ is comprised of thirteen original tracks totaling just shy of one hour of eclectic, ardent, honest, and compelling music and lyrics. Although it is professionally reproduced, this collection was privately recorded and mastered by Milan himself.

All original recordings, this collection may be Milan’s most influential work yet. Influenced and inspired by such classic artists as Billy Joel, Elton John, John Mayer, Ray Charles, and Frank Sinatra, to name just a few,  “Falling “ tracks portray these influences by bridging a gap between these legendary talents. For example, the soulful sense of Ray Charles can be found in “The Music” and again as part of the coda near the end of “Heart of Yesterday”. His swooping falsetto found in “Hypocrite“ can be compared to the style of Elton John.

With Internet Radio fans in over 35 countries around the globe, Danny has captured the hearts of fans as seen in what they are saying about his music on Jango.com: “I have to say, this music has touched my soul in ways that words cannot truly express.”; “Awesome!!!!”; “Cool songs!”; “Awesome tune, very emotional, love it, please do more in a similar style.”; “Great new sound”; “Great vocals, loved the music. Can’t wait to hear more!” These are just a few of the comments posted about Danny’s music on Jango.com.

Says Monica Day (NBC 4’s traffic and entertainment reporter in Columbus and Miss Ohio 2008):  “Start following him around, because this man has got a lot of talent.“  “I compare his styling ‘s to a young Billy Joel or Elton John.  This kid is going to go places. “comments Judy Kyees (State Director for the Cinderella International Scholarship Pageant system, and the Executive Director/ Producer of the annual Miss Columbus Teen Pageant.) In a radio appearance with Jim Chenot (Radio Personality, WAPS 91.3 The Summit):   “I saw Danny play a couple of times at Art-A-Palooza, thought he was very good and he‘s a great kid ... He‘s very talented.“

Several live performances scheduled in the coming months including: Arts In Stark J-Jams! (7/7/2010); Danny Milan Live In Concert (8/6/2010 & 8/7/2010); Green’s Annual FUNFest (8/22/2010); and an upcoming radio appearance on Akron’s own WAPS 91.3 as a guest on Jim Chenot‘s Radio Sandbox show.

Danny Milan is a 19 year old independent singer/songwriter who started his music career in the summer of 2005 at the age of fourteen after having started work on his debut album  “The Riverfront “ which was independently released on iTunes in December of 2007. Danny is a solo artist who currently records, mixes, and masters all of his songs in his home-studio. Danny is classically trained on the piano, and his first compositions actually leaned more toward baroque, classical, romantic, and ragtime styles of music which he will often put onto some of his albums. Danny released his second album entitled “I‘ll Sing About Her Instead “ on iTunes in July of 2008, and has now released his third album  “Falling. “ He is currently in the process of recording his fourth album.
