Downtown Tipp City’s September Community Night will be heldon Friday, September 3rd. The evening of free music will begin at 6:30PM with guitarist Eric Loy followed by The Termites at 7:30 PM.
For twenty years The Termites have kept the classic music ofthe 60’s and 70’s beating strong. In 1988 two sets of brothers from theCenterville Kettering area got together to form the core of the band. Whereever they play audiences are sure to be up on their feet dancing to thegreatest rock-n-roll hits ever. Sounds from the 50’s on up to the currentcharts are included in the bands impressive 200 plus repertoire.
Along with the open-air concert, children and their parentscan enjoy other activities in historic downtown Tippecanoe such as artdemonstrations, carriage rides, and refreshments. The Community Night Concertis held on the first Friday of the month June through September. The event isfree to the public and is hosted by Tippecanoe Main Street. It is recommendedthat you bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather the concert will becanceled.
