Need lettuce? Maybe the better question is, “who doesn’t?” As you peeps know, the Cincinnati Reds are owned by produce king Bob Castellini. Castellini repeatedly has made comments over his relatively short tenure as Reds owner that he would build a winner. Finally, that pledge seems to be working this season.

From the drama of Lebron James and other NBA stars to the future "super conferences” in college football, what the heck happened? I pulled out my copy of “A Fire to Win” to make some sense of the nonsense. You know, that book about Woody Hayes.

Soccer Mania has come and gone. What have we learned? Not much. Positives were the final push by the USA team against the Slovenian team and of course the final winning goal against Algeria. For very brief moments the sport emerged from a shell that screamed BORING!
