Take a second with me and look around you. Every person you have
ever known, seen, or even known about has either died, is dying, or will
die. Life is so risky that you don’t get out of it alive! I know what
you’re thinking right now but bear with me a moment longer.
The Bible teaches us that life is but a vapor. Here today and gone tomorrow. We need to seek the Lord with all of our hearts. He will add those things to our life that we have need of. He promises food, home, clothing (Mtt 6:25-31).
Free your life and mind of all that is perishing and grasp that which is eternal. Try to not let the temporary take precedence over the eternal. Easier said than done but as we mature we find we can do it and should.
This is where you will find peace. Only through the Son of the living God can you and I be assured of abundant living and unshakable peace.
