Saturday July 17th will be the date that and event will take place that has already benefited one Springfield ministry and will now benefit a missionary to another country.
An auction was held to support the Springfield’s Jail Chaplaincy Program. Jacob Berner of Berner’s Auction donated his appraisal time as an auction item. His services were purchased and will now be used as the main feature in an antique appraisal event to support Pastor Roy Jacobs, a missionary in India.
This event will be held at Fellowship Christian church on Valley Loop Road across from the mall. It will be starting at 11A.M. and ending at 2P.M.
Items may be brought and appraised for the nominal fee of $7. for the first item and $5 for each additional item. Items may be sold or purchased on site also. There would be a suggested donation of 5% of the selling price not to exceed $25.00. People are encouraged to come to see, sell, get appraisals, or just come and enjoy looking.
All of the proceeds will go to Roy Jacobs.
We hope that many will come and enjoy Springfield’s own Antique Event to rival television’s popular program Antique Road Show.
