How many times have you worked so hard for something that, once you obtained it, lost its attraction or just wasn’t as good as you thought?

Today’s society is enamored with the trappings of this world.  Until we finally realize that we are just ‘passing through’ we cannot concentrate our gaze on the most important aspects of why we are here!  
I have performed many funerals in my twenty years as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and cannot remember one time that a truck filled with the deceased possessions!  We leave this world with nothing.  The hope is that we leave this world something!

The Bible says that a good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children.  What inheritance is best is determined by eternity.  

I want to leave an inheritance of salvation and the knowledge of a relationship with Jesus Christ.  I know that any financial inheritance is quickly spent.  Homes are decorated and landscaped only to be redone when another is the owner.  The inheritance of this world is empty.  I want my children and grand-children to know Jesus as Lord!

How can we do this?  Being ‘born-again’ as Jesus told the Pharisee Nicodemus and receiving Jesus for ourselves!  The ‘Christian’ life is the best lifestyle on the face of the planet.  A life filled with peace and an unspeakable joy.  It is not earned and is a free gift.  Receive Jesus as Lord today and begin to ‘really live’!

Set your eyes on forever and today will be easier than your yesterdays.
