1 Peter 1:16 “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.”

I remember a time when holiness was thought to be a ‘solemn display’. In fact I ran from being a ‘preacher’ for years because I wanted to have fun in life and enjoy myself. When the Lord told me that holiness began in the heart and manifested itself outwardly, I immediately understood and embraced my calling the more.

Holiness is a separation unto Him for His service, His bidding, His work. The Bible teaches us that we are in the world but not of the world and so we are separated into holiness in the same manner by His Spirit.

The Lord didn’t promise us a smooth time just that He would always be there leading us THROUGH! We must all remember that it is vital that we enjoy the journey! Enjoy this life to its fullest! Love in this life to its fullest! Finally speak and release into this life words that will mend the broken hearted, soothe the toiled mind, and heal the sick and lost. God loves you and so do I.
