Psalms 74: 23,24,26,27 Nevertheless I am continually with You; You do hold my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to honor and glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And I have no delight or desire on earth besides You. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.
Do you ever wonder who will be there for you when everything seems to be falling apart in your life? I have found that family, friend, co-workers and your neighbor can let you down. But, just as this scripture says, God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever. He has always been there for me and I know if you will let him have control of your heart he will be there for you as well. God wants to show you His goodness and most of all he wants you to learn how to trust Him.
Sometimes it seems life is not far and you wonder how all of this can happen to one person. The word says that your flesh and heart will fail but God is your portion forever. Stop looking at what is and look to what will be. You can experience His goodness if you will aloud Him in. Ask God to guide you with His counsel and to lead you where He has prepare for you to go. I know for me sometimes I have to dig deep within me and pull myself up and stop feeling sorry for myself and know that God has a better plan for my life and that it is not empty and unfulfilled.
God is with you, And He can be your Portion if you let Him!
