Elliott expressed his desire that DCSS continue to be a leading influence in Christian education regionally and nationally. Elliott stated, “Dayton Christian School System has been built on a solid, Biblically-based, Christ-centered, quality education. I am committed to maintaining what has made DCSS successful, while also working to promote high levels of excellence in all facets of the school system. My aspiration has always been to put Christ first; to educate the students with academic excellence as well as prepare them in furthering the kingdom of God; to instill in them a heart for outreach and service; and equip them with lifelong, godly characteristics. I am truly humbled to serve in this role.”
The Dayton Christian School System includes DaytonChristianSchool, XeniaChristianSchool, and the Dayton Christian Homeschool program with more than 1,500 students currently enrolled. Nearly 5,000 students have graduated from DCSS, which has served as a model to many Christian schools all over the world. In addition, DCSS has developed one of the leading homeschool programs in the country.
Elliott has served on numerous community boards including President, Independent Insurance Agents of America, President, EmmanuelChristianAcademy and the MarriageResourceCenter. Elliott and his wife, Melissa, reside in Springfield and have three children and one grandchild.
