Andrew Garvin Named to Dean's List at MVNU

Andrew Garvin has been named to the dean’s list for the 2011 fall semester at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The dean’s list includes all students who carried a minimum of 12 credit hours and have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Garvin, a junior majoring in Social Work and Intercultural Studies, finished fall semester with a 3.6 GPA. This is his first semester attaining dean’s list. A 2008 graduate of Emanuel Christian Academy, he is the son of Keith and Lisa Garvin of Springfield, Ohio. Mount Vernon Nazarene University is a private, four-year, intentionally Christian teaching university for traditional age students, graduate students and working adults. With a 400-acre main campus in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and several convenient Graduate and Professional Studies locations throughout the state, MVNU emphasizes academic excellence, spiritual growth and service to community and church.
