Springfield City Federation of Women's Clubs past president Diane McHenry (left) was honored with the Clementine Berry Buchwalter Award in a special presentation by former honoree Marianne Ludlow Nave (right) at a recent City Federation meeting. Ms. McHenry was honored for outstanding and continued volunteer service to the City Federation over many years.
Included in her service, Diane is active on the local, district and state levels of GFWC Ohio, having served as the Springfield City Federation president from 2004 to 2006. Ms. McHenry, also a member of TRIAD CLUB/GFWC and active in the Clementine Berry Buchwalter statue project from 2002 to 2006, received the Buchwalter traveling award and an individual plaque to keep. The meeting was held at the Courtyard by Marriott in Springfield (in December 2011).
