JEFF “HOFFY” HOCFBAUM
49, of Medway, Ohio passed away Tuesday July 27, 2010.  He was born December 20, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Robert & Mondas (Dun) Hocfbaum.  He was a former member of the Highway Hickers M.C., V.F.W.  Post 9684, Medway and Troy Fish & Game.  He is survived by his wife, of 11 years, Crystal; daughters, Lindsey Mae & Erica; granddaughter, Ava; his mother;  brother, Dick; sister, Kim; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Janice Riber.  Visitation will be    4-8 PM Friday July 30, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Medway Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com


Addison Alisya Arnold

Addison Alisya Arnold, precious baby daughter of Bryan Lee Arnold and Renée Joyce Wilkins passed away on Monday, July 26, 2010, at Children’s Hospital in Dayton.  She was born on May 28, 2010.  Addison is survived by her parents, her older brother, Bryan Lee Arnold Jr., maternal grandparents: Tyrone and Diana Wilkins, and Kimberly Wilkins; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Lisa Arnold and Carmen Arnold; maternal great grandparents:  Glinda Humpherys, Victor and Susan Wilkins, Dolores Rullan; paternal great grandparents:  Curtis and Diana Fuller, Linda and Harry Holsinger, Della Arnold, and James Terry; maternal great-great grandmothers:  Malissia Blevins, Thekla Nunley; and numerous close family members.  “Love never dies.”  Services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.  Friends may call from 12-1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Rudolph "Rudy" Hampton
Rudolph "Rudy" Hampton, 76, of Springfield, Ohio passed away July 21, 2010.  He was born in West Bend, Kentucky a son of Walter and Lula (Cooper) Hampton.   Mr. Hampton had been employed by the City of Springfield as a Human Relations Specialist; Clark County Board of Commissioners as Personnel Director; Navistar International as an Employment Interviewer; Western Southern Life Insurance Company where he was the first Black Sales Associate hired by W & S as an associate and he held positions with various other companies. He graduated from Kentucky State University and served his country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.  Mr. Hampton had been local president, district director, vice president and international president of the Frontiers International; board member of the Center Street YMCA,  the Springfield YMCA, Kiwanis Club, Center City Community Gospel Choir and Ombudsman for Ohio Long Term Care Program.  He was a very active member of Trinity A.M.E. Church where he was a member of the choir, Bible Study Teacher, Steward and chairman of the Black History Luncheon.  Mr Hampton received many awards including, local and international Frontiersman of the Year, Springfield Urban League Citizen of the Year, Phillips Chapel C.M.E. "Man of the Year" and Kiwanis Club "Member of the Year".  His memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Pinnia Hampton and his children, Rudayus and Rudolph Jr.  He is survived by his brother, Wilson Hampton of Clay City, Kentucky and sister, Evelyn Williams of Winchester, Kentucky.He was preceded in death by his son, Daryl S. Hampton.  Visitation for Mr. Hampton will be Friday 6-7 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home and Saturday from 12 noon-1 p.m.in Pine Grove C.M.E. Church, Clay City, Kentucky.  Funeral services will follow in the church Saturday at 1 p.m.  Burial in Cooper-Hampton Family Cemetery, Clay City, Kentucky.  Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.


Mildred Duncan

Mildred Duncan, 79 of Springfield, Ohio passed away July 16, 2010.  She was born December 4, 1930  in Springfield, Ohio a daughter of Clarence Frye and Lillian Duncan.  Mildred gave her life to God and was a loving, caring and God fearing mother.  She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Patricia (Louis) Sharpe of Columbus; sons, Richard Fleming of California , Gary (Sheila) Fleming of Springfield and Dean Duncan of Springfield; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Belva L. Yancey and brother, Earl Duncan Sr.  A memorial service will be held Saturday July 24, 2010 at 3 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.  After the service the family will receive friends at 18 W. Perrin Avenue.

63, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Wednesday July 21, 2010.  She was born January 23, 1947 in Urbana, Ohio the daughter of late Richard & Martha (Cheeseman) Lacey.   She retired from Northwestern School system.  She is survived by her husband of 30 years, David; two sons, John & Tarasa McCluskey of Columbus, Ohio, David & Ava Cottrell of Hilliard, Ohio; daughter, Kriston & Maurice Fannon of London, Ohio; three grandchildren, Rosemarie, Skylar & Hope; brother, Eric & Margy Lacey of  Urbana; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   Visitation will be   5-8 PM Friday July 23, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home with Deacon Bob Kozlowski officiating.  Burial will be in Honey Creek Cemetery. Reverend Fred Newsome,88, of Springfield, Ohio, was serenaded and carried by a band of angels across Jordan to be with Jesus on July 18th, 2010, at 4:10a.m. Born the son of Jarvie and Lola Hill-Newsome in Pippa Passe, Kentucky, Dec.14th, 1921. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, James R. Newsome, brothers Tivis and Joe Newsome. One sister Marjorie Newsome-Winnings. Survived by his loving wife Lucille Slagle-Newsome. Sons LeRoy(Vickie) Newsome, Doug(Carmen) Lightle. Brother Charles Leroy and Betty Newsome, of Hurricane, West Virginia. Fred was a member of CCCU, Beacon St. Springfield, Ohio. Also a veteran of World War II and was retired from Bauer Bros., Springfield, Ohio. Grandchildren: Kevin, John, Jay Newsome, Julian Lightle, Candy Schwalbauch, Tammy Bowling, Robin Clifford, Romena Lightle, Renee, Gabby Hastings, Brigitte Copley, Shane McGlone, Shauna Bowshier, Zach Newsome, Rob and Dwayne Halsey, along with 28 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Services will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Corwin “Corky” D. Lawson

U.S.M.C., born March 11, 1954 in Richmond, Indiana.  Died July 17, 2010 in New Carlisle, Ohio after a brief illness.  He is preceded in death by his parents, James R. & Shirley D. Lawson and his nephew, Jimmie J. Carpenter.  He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Helen & Larry Carpenter, his brother and sister-in-law, Ward & Paula Lawson; nieces and nephews, Christopher Carpenter, Nikki, Matthew, Jackie, Katy, Steven and Robby Lawson.  He also had 8 grandnieces and grand nephews.  He was loved by everyone he came in contact with while he worked as an aircraft mechanic.  One of his greatest enjoyments was participating in shooting matches.  He won countless awards for his expert marksmanship.  The viewing will be Thursday July 22, 2010 from 11-1 PM with service to follow.  Burial will follow at 3 PM in Dayton National Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in his name.  Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com

Rosemary L. Rapp
Rosemary L. Rapp, 81, of Springfield, passed away Saturday July 17, 2010 after a lengthy illness.  She was born October 8, 1928 in Springfield, the daughter of Clarence W. and Beulah (Dennis) Bishop.  Rosemary retired from the F.W. Woolworth Store and worked at the Northridge Pharmacy and Katie’s Hallmark Store.  She was a member since 1986 of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 1031.  She married her husband and best friend Charles D. Rapp (deceased) on August 9, 1947 and they were married for fifty-eight years.  Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Bonita Rapp of Springfield; granddaughters, Jessica (Kris) Otto of Vanlue, Ohio and Jamie, Melissa and Monica all of Springfield; great-grandchildren, Alivia, Jonathan, Brianna, Shiyan, Lexie and Brendon all of Springfield.  She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Phyllis Bishop, special niece Jo Ann (Harry) Henry of Savannah, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Rapp; brother, Robert W. Bishop Sr.; sister Genevieve Heinzen and parents Clarence and Beulah Bishop.  The family would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Peter J. George L. Sanders

George L. Sanders, 61, of Springfield went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 15, 2010.  He was born in Springfield, Ohio on May 18, 1949, the son of George and Mary Jane (Heskett) Sanders.  He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. George was a retired mechanic and earned his B S degree in religion from the Circleville Bible College.  George was a member of Beacon St Church of Christ in Christian Union, where he carried credentials as a counselor in the Church of Christ in Christian Union. He was a new member of Clark Lodge #101 F & AM, having been raised in the Grand Master’s one day class in June.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, nieces, nephews and “adoptive grandkids”.  George loved the Lord very much and loved to spread the word about Jesus, especially through gospel music.  In his spare time he collected knives, coins, and trains.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Anita, brothers Ed, Harry, and Don Sanders, and son James Robert Sanders.  His survivors include his daughters Shelley (Tom) Stump and Lurline (David) Driscoll; sons Wayne (Amanda), Thomas, and Nathan Roth all of Springfield; sisters Brenda (James) Leach of Trotwood, Clara (Ed) Wilson and Myra (Bill) Dillon both of Springfield; brothers Greg (Patricia) Sanders of Crowley, Texas, and William (Anita) Sanders of New Carlisle; brother in law John (Betty) Bailey of Enon; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  A celebration of George’s life will be Tuesday at 11:00AM in the Beacon St Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. RUSSELL T. ALGREN III
54, of Euclid, Ohio passed away Monday July 12, 2010.  He was born November 5, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Russell T. Algren II & Marilyn (Stedman) Eversole.  He retired in 1993 from the U.S. Air Force and was employed with the Transportation Security Administration, Homeland Defense; Supervisor Cleveland Hopkins Airport.  He is survived by his wife, Deborah Algren; son, Russell Algren IV; daughter, Tiffanie (Jeremiah) Pelton; step daughter, Emma (Scott) Stein; step sons, Jeffrey (Jamie) Hayes & Douglas (Jenna) Hayes; step mother, Kathleen Algren; sisters, Rebecca (Don) Jones, Angela (Jack) Cunningham; brother, Steven (Tammie) Algren; step brother, John (Kim) Webber; step sisters, Linda (Kelly) Zinkhon and Sharon Howard; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Algren. Robert E. Phillips

Robert E. Phillips, 82, of Springfield passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Clark County, Ohio on February 17, 1928, the son of Robert L. and Margaret R. (Slentz) Phillips.  Bob was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over sixty years, the Springfield Kiwanis Club, 50 year member of St. Andrews Lodge # 619 F & AM, and Shawnee Chapter # 237.  In his spare time, he loved to play the game of golf.  He retired from The Yost Superior Company as the Plant Superintendent with 44 years of service.  He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law William McFarland.  His survivors include his wife of 56 years,  JoAnn L. (Kelly) Phillips, whom he married may 25, 1954; one brother and sister in law Richard L. and Barbara Phillips; and one sister Barbara J. McFarland both of Springfield, several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Masonic memorial services beginning at 7:30pm, visitation will also be one hour prior to services.  Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Pauline G. McKenney, 94, of Springfield died Sunday, July 11, 2010 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Pike County, Ohio on March 12, 1916, the daughter of Crawford George and Florence Marie (Chestnut) Legg.  Pauline retired as a seamstress for Suncraft Corp .  She was a volunteer with Elderly United for 20 years, working at Community Hospital in their horticulture department.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years Clarence McKenney;  brothers Asher and William Legg; and sister Lillian Ealey.  Her survivors include her sister Marilyn Vance of Springfield; and numerous nieces and nephews, including her special niece Eleanor Westbeld.  Services will be Wednesday at Noon in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Burial to follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Elderly United.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.  


Ruby  E. Dunn

Ruby  E. Dunn, age 74 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday July 7,2010 in the Heartland of Springfield.   Ruby was born May 11,1936 in Hamilton County, Ohio,   the daughter of the late Leonard & Oakie (Mabry) Dalton.   Survivors include her brothers Curtis (Peg) Dalton , South Charleston, Oh., & Shelby Dalton, Springfield, Oh.  Sister Ruth (John) Osborne, South Charleston, Oh.  Several nieces, nephews & cousins.   Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday July 7, 2010 from the  Ingling Williams & Lewis Funeral Home,  24 N. RONALD G. SIERECKI, SR.
65, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday July 9, 2010.  He was born November 23, 1944 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan the son of the late George & Frieda (Veith) Sierecki.  He retired in 1988 from the U.S. Air Force.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Doris; sons, Ronald Sierecki, Jr., George & Rhonda Sierecki all of New Carlisle, Robert Sierecki of Miamisburg, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Gostovich of New Baltimore, Michigan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a granddaughter. Lt. Col. Raymond M. Griswold
Lt. Col. Raymond M. Griswold (retired USAF), 88 of Springfield passed away Thursday July 8, 2010 in Heartland of Springfield.  He was born in Pleasant Plains, Ohio on May 16, 1922, the son of Raymond W. and Irma E. (Bisher) Griswold.  Ray served his country in the US Air Force for 27 years as a Pilot, flying an air-sea rescue plane during WWII and Vietnam.  He flew in the South Pacific during WW II and was stationed in Morocco, Bermuda, and Amchitka.  He also was involved with the H bomb testing at Eniwetok in the Marshall Islands.  Following WW II he sailed home on the USS Intrepid.  Ray and his wife where long time members of the Springfield Country Club and the Officer’s Club at WPAFB.  He was a member of H S Kissell Lodge#674 F & AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Antioch Shrine, Springfield Shrine Club, Kiwanis Club, where he received in conjunction with the Springfield Rotary Club, The Lt Henry A Beckley Award.  Ray was preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda F. Griswold (Dec 16, 2009), and an infant brother.  His survivors include his brother and sister in law Dale & Mary Sue Griswold of Cincinnati; sister in law Vera Lambert of Springfield; nieces and nephews Mike Griswold, Kathy Mercurio, Lori Klug, Gretchen Goode, Nannette Lambert, Heidi Kirkpatrick, and Gregg Lambert; several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.  The family wishes to express their gratitude to Heartland of Springfield and Crossroads Hospice and their staffs for the wonderful care and support.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1-3 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Masonic services at 3:00 PM.  Services will be Monday at 11:00 AM in the memorial home with Rev. Robert Eugene Bartz age 89 of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, July 7,2010.  Robertwas born, September 9,1920 in Bucyrus, Ohio, the son of the late Otto & Alice Bartz.  He was retired from Springfield City Schools, a WWII Navy Veteran, and a member of the High Street Church of the Nazarene.  Robert was  preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (2001), brothers Harold & Jessie and sister Faythe.   Survivors include his sons, Larry (Deanna) Gossett, Houston, Texas, & James (Darlene) Bartz, Springfield, Oh.  11 Grandchildren, numerous Great & Great-Great Grandchildren.  A  gathering of family & friends will be held from 6-8 p.m., Sunday in the Jackson- Lytle & Lewis Funeral Home, 2425 N. Limestone St., Springfield, with services being conducted at 12:00 (Noon) Monday, July 12,2010 from the High Street Church of the  Nazarene, 1625 E. High St., Springfield, with Pastor Bret Layton officiating.  Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Mausoleum.  The family request contributions be made in RobertÂ’s memory to the  High  Street Church of the  Nazarene.

Underwood went to be with our Lord on July 6, 2010 following a three year fight with cancer.  She was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 28, 1946, the daughter of Kenneth and Katherine Arnold.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ron Underwood.  She retired from Catherine’s Clothing Shoppe following 21 years of loyal service.  In her spare time, she loved visiting cemeteries and working genealogy.  She leaves behind four sons Kenneth (Kathy), Donald (Tammy) and Jeff all of Springfield, David (Heather) of Urbana; eight grandchildren Jessica, Cody, Chelcie, Shane, Danielle, Spencer, Paige, and Parker; her great-granddaughter Veronica (Little Roni).  Judith leaves behind one brother Kenneth (Kim) Arnold; sister Lori (Ric) Compton; three brothers-in-laws David (Debby), Danny (Mona), and Doug; three sisters-in-laws Lavenia (Alice), Donna( Ether), and Janice (Randy) all of Tennessee; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends Phyllis, Junko, Beverly, Mary, Deanna, Charlene, and all her co-workers at Catherine’s.  Also she leaves behind her beloved dog Lucy, who had comforted her throughout her illness.  Special thanks to Dr. Umerani, Dr. Singh and all their staff, especially at the Springfield Regional Cancer Center and the Community Mercy Hospice for their wonderful care and support.  A special thanks to Hook’s Oxygen for all that they supplied, and all the customers at Catherine’s for all their encouragement and prayers.  Family and friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME.  Services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM in the memorial home.  Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.  In lieu of flowers we would like donations to be made to the Springfield Regional Cancer Center and the Community Mercy Hospice in her name.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.   


Robert F. Phipps
Robert F. Phipps, 80, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday July 6, 2010 in his residence after a long illness.  He was born on February 25, 1930 in Ironton, Ohio, the son of Robert Franklin and Grace (Williams) Phipps.  He was a 1948 graduate of Russell High School in Russell, Kentucky where he starred in football, basketball and baseball.  He was a guard on the 1947 Kentucky state runner-up basketball team, played football at Eastern Kentucky University and had a tryout with the St. Louis Cardinals.  Bob began his 40-year career in radio and television at WIRO in Ironton in 1953.  Through the Sixties, he was a familiar voice to Springfield area teenagers who listened weekday afternoons to his Top 40 Hits Show on WIZE.  Bob also provided color commentary for both high school and Wittenberg football and basketball broadcasts.  When Channel 26 TV opened in Springfield in 1968, he served as the news and sports editor and broadcaster.  Bob concluded his career as an account representative with Continental Cable Television in 1994.  In his spare time, he loved to root for his beloved UK Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Browns and to read and research history (especially World War II).  However, Bob’s preferred activity was spending time with his large family.  He is survived by Bonnie (Potter), his wife of 60 years, his children Marsha (Gary) Jenkins of South Charleston, Cheryl (Jack) Dalie of Springfield, Anthony Phipps of Clearwater, Florida, James (Terri) Phipps of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Nancy Summers of Springfield, twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and good friend Greg Bachman.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Services to honor Bob’s life will be held in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME at 1 p.m. Friday July 9, 2010 with Pastor David Yingling of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church presiding.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation www.mds-foundation.org.  You may express condolences to the family at www.littletonandrue.com

Robert E. Phipps, 80, of Springfield, died Tuesday July 6, 2010 in his residence.  Arrangements are pending at LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.


Randall E. Cremeans
Randall E. Cremeans,61, of Springfield passed away Saturday, July, 3, 2010 in his residence.  He was born in Waterloo,Ohio on May 6, 1949, the son of William F. and Donna L.(Smith) Cremeans.  Randy was a 1967 graduate of South High School and served as a Staff Sergeant for the US Army in Vietnam from 1969-1971.  Growing up he enjoyed being a member of LAG (Lane Addition Gang).  He devoted his spare time to bowling, golfing, and car shows always with family and good friends.  Randy retired from Navistar following 37 years of service and was a member of the Local 402 UAW.  He was preceded in death by Louie and Jessie Cremeens and Ralph and Estelle Smith.  His survivors include his parents William F. and Donna L. (Smith) Cremeans; his longtime girlfriend Susan Hamilton all of Springfield ; children Travis (Audra) Cremeans and Tracy (Dr. Charley) Imamura both of Dublin and their mother and former wife Linda DeWitt of Springfield; brother Kevin (Jan) Cremeans of Lima; sisters Teresa (Joe) Sisler and Lana (Woodrow) Lewis both of Springfield; grandchildren Zachary and Maxwell Imamura and Aiden and Addison Cremeans; many nieces and nephews.  A celebration of Randy’s life will be Thursday at 7:00 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, where a gathering will held from 4:00 PM until time of services.  Memorial contributions are requested to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation 811 W. Joseph A. (Junie) Welliford Jr
Joseph A. (Junie) Welliford Jr., 60, of Springfield departed this life on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 22, 1949 to the late Ina M. and Joseph A. Welliford Sr.  Joe was retired after 30 years from International Truck and Engine Co.  He was part owner of G & C Records and loved music and an avid sports fan.  Joe is survived by his wife of 41years, Linda Welliford; five daughters, Jeanette (Sean) Reeder, Dawn (Carlos Morris) Welliford, Chaleen Welliford, Brittany Welliford all of Springfield and Stephanie (Andre) Clark of Boston, MA.; four sons, Clarence (Cheri) Welliford, Eric (Cassandra) Clark, Aaron Welliford and Antwon (Angel) Welliford all of Springfield; two brothers, Curtis (Margaret) Davis and George (Donna) Welliford; stepfather, Willie Gaines; Stepbrother, Leroy Gaines; stepsister, Dorothy Duncan all of Springfield; 17 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Ina M. (John) Moore who was raised as his sister and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ella (Kookie) Johnson.  Visitation with the family present will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 6-7 p.m. in Restored Life Ministries, 1117 Innisfallen Avenue. Funeral services will follow in the church at 7 p.m. with Rev. Larry D. Coleman officiating.  Interment will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at 413 Damascus Avenue.  Arrangements are provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
