Randall E. Cremeans
Randall E. Cremeans,61, of Springfield passed away Saturday, July, 3, 2010 in his residence. He was born in Waterloo,Ohio on May 6, 1949, the son of William F. and Donna L.(Smith) Cremeans. Randy was a 1967 graduate of South High School and served as a Staff Sergeant for the US Army in Vietnam from 1969-1971. Growing up he enjoyed being a member of LAG (Lane Addition Gang). He devoted his spare time to bowling, golfing, and car shows always with family and good friends. Randy retired from Navistar following 37 years of service and was a member of the Local 402 UAW. He was preceded in death by Louie and Jessie Cremeens and Ralph and Estelle Smith. His survivors include his parents William F. and Donna L. (Smith) Cremeans; his longtime girlfriend Susan Hamilton all of Springfield ; children Travis (Audra) Cremeans and Tracy (Dr. Charley) Imamura both of Dublin and their mother and former wife Linda DeWitt of Springfield; brother Kevin (Jan) Cremeans of Lima; sisters Teresa (Joe) Sisler and Lana (Woodrow) Lewis both of Springfield; grandchildren Zachary and Maxwell Imamura and Aiden and Addison Cremeans; many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Randy’s life will be Thursday at 7:00 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME, where a gathering will held from 4:00 PM until time of services. Joseph A. (Junie) Welliford Jr
Joseph A. (Junie) Welliford Jr., 60, of Springfield departed this life on Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on September 22, 1949 to the late Ina M. and Joseph A. Welliford Sr. Joe was retired after 30 years from International Truck and Engine Co. He was part owner of G & C Records and loved music and an avid sports fan. Joe is survived by his wife of 41years, Linda Welliford; five daughters, Jeanette (Sean) Reeder, Dawn (Carlos Morris) Welliford, Chaleen Welliford, Brittany Welliford all of Springfield and Stephanie (Andre) Clark of Boston, MA.; four sons, Clarence (Cheri) Welliford, Eric (Cassandra) Clark, Aaron Welliford and Antwon (Angel) Welliford all of Springfield; two brothers, Curtis (Margaret) Davis and George (Donna) Welliford; stepfather, Willie Gaines; Stepbrother, Leroy Gaines; stepsister, Dorothy Duncan all of Springfield; 17 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, including special niece, Ina M. (John) Moore who was raised as his sister and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ella (Kookie) Johnson. Visitation with the family present will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 6-7 p.m. in Restored Life Ministries, 1117 Innisfallen Avenue. Funeral services will follow in the church at 7 p.m. with Rev. Larry D. Coleman officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 413 Damascus Avenue. Arrangements are provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
