RUSSELL T. ALGREN III
54, of Euclid, Ohio passed away Monday July 12, 2010.  He was born November 5, 1955 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Russell T. Algren II & Marilyn (Stedman) Eversole.  He retired in 1993 from the U.S. Air Force and was employed with the Transportation Security Administration, Homeland Defense; Supervisor Cleveland Hopkins Airport.  He is survived by his wife, Deborah Algren; son, Russell Algren IV; daughter, Tiffanie (Jeremiah) Pelton; step daughter, Emma (Scott) Stein; step sons, Jeffrey (Jamie) Hayes & Douglas (Jenna) Hayes; step mother, Kathleen Algren; sisters, Rebecca (Don) Jones, Angela (Jack) Cunningham; brother, Steven (Tammie) Algren; step brother, John (Kim) Webber; step sisters, Linda (Kelly) Zinkhon and Sharon Howard; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Algren. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday July 16, 2010 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.  Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday in the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior.  Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.trostelchapman.com


Robert E. Phillips

Robert E. Phillips, 82, of Springfield passed away Monday, July 12, 2010 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center.  He was born in Clark County, Ohio on February 17, 1928, the son of Robert L. and Margaret R. (Slentz) Phillips.  Bob was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over sixty years, the Springfield Kiwanis Club, 50 year member of St. Andrews Lodge # 619 F & AM, and Shawnee Chapter # 237.  In his spare time, he loved to play the game of golf.  He retired from The Yost Superior Company as the Plant Superintendent with 44 years of service.  He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law William McFarland.  His survivors include his wife of 56 years,  JoAnn L. (Kelly) Phillips, whom he married may 25, 1954; one brother and sister in law Richard L. and Barbara Phillips; and one sister Barbara J. McFarland both of Springfield, several nieces and nephews.  Family and friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME with Masonic memorial services beginning at 7:30pm, visitation will also be one hour prior to services.  Services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev.
