Patricia C. Rafferty
Rafferty, Patricia C., passed into eternal life at Springfield Regional Medical Center on Friday, August 6, 2010. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 28, 1930. She was employed at Eaglewood Senior Community for the past 20 years, where she will be sadly missed by the residents and staff.  She is survived by one son, Mark Rafferty; two brothers, Roger (Joyce) Clemans, all of Springfield, and Wilford (Buddy) Williams of White Springs, Florida; one sister, Connie (Jim) Goff of Springfield; one sister-in-law, Pauline Deselem of Springfield; very special friends and neighbors, Nida and Jim Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; a sister, Barbara Clemans; and her foster parents, Clarence and Ester Holland. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME-Springfield, with the funeral service to be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Somerford Cemetery. Thelma R. Wilson
Wilson, Thelma R., 81, of Springfield, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 5, 2010. She was born on August 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Charles V. and Ida E. (Weatherbee) Cory. Thelma loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling around the world with her loving husband and occasionally her friends.  She loved her dogs and had a passion for ceramics.  She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Glen T. Wilson; nieces, Jackie Allaway, Judy Toy, Susan Jackson, Judy Walthall, Mary Hill, and Anna Crutcher; nephew, Jimmy D. Rector; brother-in-law, Alvin J. Wilson; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Fargo. A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. at the JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME- Springfield, where a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. Pastor Tom Harmon officiating.
