Exchange Club Top in Country

The Exchange Club of Springfield was named one of the Top 25 Money-Raising Clubs in the country on July 23, 2010 at the organization’s 92nd national convention in La Quinta, California. The Exchange Club of Springfield was in competition with more than 700 other Exchange Clubs across the country to raise the most money for the National Exchange Club Foundation, according to Springfield President Beverly Sewell.
Lexington, KY-National Federations for 58 countries have submitted nominated entries for the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games to be held in Lexington, Ky., from September 25 October 10.

Dayton Deaf Festival to Celebrate 25th Anniversary!

Downtown Sounds Wraps Up Great Season

SPRINGFIELD — The Downtown Sounds concert series had its final performance of 2010 this past Wednesday, August 18, at the downtown plaza at City Hall in Springfield.
Springfield, Ohio — Wittenberg University rolled out the red carpet on Thursday, Aug. 19, for an academically astute and diverse freshman class. Members of the Class of 2014 were welcomed in the same personal manner that they were recruited as a large contingent of faculty and staff members joined nearly 100 orientation assistants (OAs) to help the new arrivals move into their residence halls.

The Trail Walkers Program

The Trail Walkers program is held on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM.  The walking program highlights the multi-purpose trail system while promoting fitness, fellowship and fun.  The next walk will take place August 24 on the Tecumseh Trail.  Walkers should meet at Smith Park in New Carlisle.  For more information call 328-PARK.
